Bavarian Precision Parts started the way most great car businesses do — with a problem. Our founder Marcus Albrecht, a former BMW AG technician, was tired of navigating faceless online marketplaces where fitment was an afterthought and parts arrived in bubblewrap with no documentation.

So in 2016, from a small unit in Alaska, he started building something different: a parts supplier that approached every listing the way a specialist workshop approaches every job — with obsessive attention to detail and zero tolerance for approximation.

Today we stock over 12,000 part numbers across OEM, performance and aftermarket categories, serve customers in 34 countries, and still answer technical enquiries ourselves. The garage got bigger. The standards didn't change.

Marcus quits his BMW technician role to launch Bavarian Precision Parts from a single-bay garage unit with 400 part numbers.

First Warehouse

Moved into our first proper 4,000 sq ft warehouse. Catalogue grew to 3,200 part numbers including our first OEM supplier agreements.

International Shipping Launched

Added DHL Express international rates — day one we shipped to Australia, Canada and Germany simultaneously.

10,000 Parts Milestone

Crossed 10,000 active SKUs. Introduced the fitment checker tool and launched our used BMW vehicle sales division.
