How to Return a Part

Start Your Return
Log in to your account, go to Order History and select "Return Item". Or email us with your order number.

Print Your Label
We'll email you a pre-paid return label (deducted from refund) or arrange collection for large items.

Pack & Post
Repack the part in its original packaging and attach the label. Drop off at any DHL ServicePoint.
4
Receive Your Refund
We'll inspect the return within 2 business days and issue your refund within 5 business days.

1. Return Window

We offer 30-day returns as standard — giving you plenty of time to verify fitment and condition.

The 30-day window starts from the date you receive your order (as confirmed by the carrier's delivery scan). Returns requested after 30 days may be accepted at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

2. Eligible Items

The following are eligible for return within 30 days:

  • All mechanical parts in original, unused condition
  • Suspension components (unused, uninstalled)
  • Brake discs and pads (unwrapped but not installed)
  • Exhaust systems (in original packaging)
  • Fluids and oils (sealed, unopened)
  • Wheels and tyres (unmounted)
  • Performance parts from all brands we stock

3. Excluded Items

The following cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Electrical components once connected or plugged in (ECUs, sensors, modules)
  • Special-order parts not stocked as standard (clearly marked at time of purchase)
  • Parts that have been installed, used or modified
  • Fluids, oils or chemicals that have been opened
  • Items without their original packaging where packaging is integral to sale (e.g. branded wheel boxes)
  • Personalised or custom-machined items

4. Condition Requirements

Returned items must be:

  • In the same condition as received — unused and uninstalled
  • In original manufacturer packaging with all tags, labels and documentation
  • Free from grease, dirt, scratches or any signs of fitting
  • Accompanied by your order number (written on a slip inside the package)

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or issue a partial refund if the item is returned in a condition that reduces its resale value.

5. Return Process

  1. Email returns@bavarianprecisionparts.com with your order number and reason for return, or use the Returns portal in your account.
  2. We will email you a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number within 1 business day.
  3. A pre-paid return label will be provided where applicable. A small return shipping fee ($6.99) is deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error or a faulty part.
  4. Pack the item securely with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the parcel.
  5. Drop off at any UPS, FedEx, or USPS location, or book a collection.

Do not return items without an RMA number — we cannot guarantee processing without it.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not refund original shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, a faulty item, or a misdescribed product.

7. Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different part, please return the original for a refund and place a new order. This ensures you get the fastest possible dispatch on your replacement.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrectly picked item, we will cover all return costs and provide a full refund or free replacement — your choice.

Your statutory rights under applicable US consumer protection law are not affected by this policy. If a product develops a fault within 6 months of delivery, we will work with you to resolve it promptly.

9. International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit.

Customs declarations on return parcels must state "returned goods — no commercial value" to avoid import duty issues. Please contact us before returning so we can provide the correct documentation.
